Experiential Learning
“For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.” –Aristotle
Experiential learning activities and exercises provide opportunities for deeper insight and awareness, through a hands-on and fun experience. While Sophie primarily creates custom experiences for teams’ exact needs and dynamics, she also leads two well-known programs:
Immunity to Change
Resistance to change does not necessarily reflect opposition or even inertia, but rather the fact that energy is being applied to a hidden, competing commitment. This workshop pairs audience participants in exploring behavioral patterns, personal roadblocks and alternative actions, all leading to a greater understanding about the things that impede change.
The Organization Workshop
The Organization Workshop, based on the work of Power + Systems guru Barry Oshry, is one of the most powerful and effective experiential programs in the world today. The OW provides a unique opportunity for people to experience themselves, their co-workers, VPs, CEOs, direct reports, even the organization, as a whole system—not just a collection of individuals.

“Better understanding my competing commitments has been a very eye opening experience that has allowed me to let go of some of the fears that were keeping me from realizing my potential.”
